All the junkman had to do was to go back to the beginning, to the place of the original major discovery of gold, move three feet in the other direction and he would tap back into the vein. That is exactly what the junkman didand he discovered a great fortune in gold!

What happened to Darby? Well, he did hear about the junkman’s fortune and was quite upset. But he vowed to learn from his mistake and to never give up “three feet from gold” again. He went on to build a highly successful insurance business and began a new quest to teach others the importance of perseverance and never quitting.
