Also, try to use a book shelf that is easy to dust and wipe and which does not have too many grooves or cracks in it as dust can be difficult to get rid of.

If you are lucky enough to have a floor-to-ceiling library then consider a specialised library roller ladder. You can use the roller ladder which slides along the length of the shelf or alternatively you can use a more inexpensive step-ladder which can be moved around as you please. You can achieve quite a grand and sophisticated look if you have the roller ladder professionally installed into your home. For smaller rooms use something more appropriate such as a step-stool which will still help you to get the job done.

An essential accessory which your area will also need is book-ends which are a must-have. They have two functions namely that as an aesthetic decorative piece and the more functional purpose of working as a book prop.

A reading chair is another great addition to add to your collection as you can place it in the corner of the room and have a seat whilst enjoying a good novel. Put a reading lamp next to the chair to add extra light to the area.

Your library can be designed in any way that you like and which suites the mood and style of the rest of your home. Adding small touches such as book-ends and a reading chair will no doubt give it that extra personal touch.

Agatha Christie is the undisputed queen of British crime and mystery writing and released many of her novels before World War II. She had a number of different characters that she used regularly, but the two best known and loved are Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Agatha Christie The Big Four with Hercule Poirot is a slightly different book to many of her other crime books.

This book is quite different from other Agatha Christie novels because it is a book in four parts instead of being one single story about a crime. This book was published in 1927 after parts of it were serialized in Sketch Magazine.

The book opens with a regular Christie character Captain Hastings visiting Hercule Poirot to find that he is making preparations for a trip to the USA. Poirot has been offered a large sum of money by an American to travel there and he asks Hastings if he knows anything of the “Big Four”.

They are visited before Poirot departs by a character who tells them of the “Big Four” that one of the members is a Chinese mastermind, another a supposed American, a French femme fatale and the final member is known as the “destroyer”. Hastings and Poirot pretend to depart for their trip, but return to the apartment to find the man dead. This naturally prompts Poirot into investigative action.

The books takes the reader on the classic Christie roller coaster of plot twists and turns. It also features a cameo by Poirot’s twin brother before the story resolves itself in a manner entirely satisfying to the reader.

So if you want a book that is a real page turner and will keep you guessing until the end, then Agatha Christie the Big Four with Hercule Poirot is a great choice to make.

This is one movie that you should not miss. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a tale of your average kid with not so average dreams. Its tag line says it all “I’ll be famous one day, but for now I’m stuck in middle school with a bunch of morons”. This is kid’s movie which has almost everything for the audience, right from small kids to grownups. The comedy is in adequate dose and for the philosophers this movie imparts a lot of morale teaching too.

The movie draws its inspiration from the hugely popular book “The diary of the wimpy kid” by Jeff Kinney. Having read the book I can safely say that the movie has retained all the exciting and comic parts of the book and the story line does drifts more that necessary. The characters are exactly like in the book and they all have been created the way they should have been.

The story revolves around Greg Heffley (excellently portrayed by Zachary Gordon); he is normal looking average school kid who is starting with middle school. Once he is in the class he makes a promise to himself that he will break his nerdy image and will become the most popular guy in his class, so that girls will start liking him. He lives with his family that consists of father, mother and a very insane elder brother who keeps him in check with his numerous pranks.

Rowley and Heffley have been friends since children but when they arrive in middle school Rowley decides to avoid Heffley to gain social status. On the other hand Rowley is unaware of such a situation and he is quite happy with the things around him.

A major twist in the story comes when a comic made by Rowley becomes hit in the school while Heffley’s is sent to the sidelines. This leads to jealously and their friendship breaks. To show each other that they don’t need the friendship to live they make new friends and start pretending that life is good. But eventually the bubble bursts and both realize their error in ways.

Both the lead actors in the diary of the wimpy kid have performed exceptionally well. And more so their chemistry is spot on. They have defined the friendship between Heffley and Rowley very nicely. Their minor squabbles and fights have been enacted to perfection. As a result the effect is quite visible and it supplements the story of the movie greatly.

Overall this movie is pure unadulterated fun. The story is fresh and for the first time any movie deals with rigors of a middle schooled kid. It is highly recommended for movie goers of all ages and especially kids.

A worth watching and a great film, Carlos, can give a warming welcome to the movies director and it’s our duty to promote him little higher. Another beauty about the movie is, it runs more than five and half hours joining all the three parts of the film. Marxist revolutionary during the period is taken as the main objective of the film. Edgar Ramirez is the main character of the movie plays excellently performs the Carlo’s role and coincidentally performing in the Che.

Edgar’s performance in the movie is quite awesome and he has the enough grace to show up his performance among the American spectators but it is quite difficult to win over the local audience. However, the film has given him to perfect chance to promote his acting skill as he his performance in the movie has risen to higher era as a man enjoying his personal things and living a life with money, destructing weapon and women.

Assaya’s films are always very far from the perfection, which comes as on worth to stick strongly to the possible facts. The local audience may not be likely impressed even though the movie has appealing matter, when compared with Soderbergh’s Che. Assayas blinding follow thee points and they publish themselves as a considerable drawback in the film. Another drawback is the music, might say the choice of music went wrong all the way. Assayas had no idea of to choose the songs and often blast over the scenes and no continuity with the story.

There are many scenes, which are out of continuity, and such imperfections are available in Assayas films. Enough appreciations cannot be scored in the movies, as the local audience may not get attracted towards the screenplay though the movie has more number of attractions than the Soderbergh’s Che. Many flaws to be notes are that the movie fails to have to rigid support in the story and not very impressive music and background score, since it went all the way wrong and there is not much attraction to the listeners.

The over imagination that no where supportive to the story and also no where offer much aid to the narrative. Third part of the movie is the biggest of the other parts since the spectators should have more patience and talent! Attractive characters and Assayas team were very aggressive to make the movie a huge success and the fact is, Carlos is out of the race.

One of the most popular books that come out every year is the Guinness book of records. This is now more commonly known as the Guinness world records. This popular book chronicles things such as the best and worst or the longest and shortest or many other recordable facts from throughout the world.

This book is accredited to the Irish twins Ross and Norris McWhirter who actually published the first Guinness book of records in Britain as far back as 1955. What a lot of people do not actually realize though is that the book is commissioned by a famous brewery in Ireland namely the Guinness brewery.

Not only would this book promote the name of Guinness worldwide but it was a good way of people being able to settle the many little arguments that they used to have while in the bars.

Back in May of 1951 one of Guinness’s managing directors was having a little argument at one of their shooting parties. Sir Hugh Beaver and another guest argued over what the fastest bird in Europe was. One said it was the Koshin Golden Plover while the other said it was the Grouse.

Sir Hugh thought that he would find the answer in his reference books that night in his Home at Castlebridge House. It turned out though that his reference books were not all that forthcoming with the information that he required.

That is when he thought that it may be a good idea to create his own book with these types of answers in them.

The Guinness book of records uncannily is also in the Guinness book of records for being the best selling copyrighted series book in the world. That is because it has literally sold millions of copies since its inception in 1955.

What is more ironic is the fact that it also holds the record for being the most stolen book in public libraries in America.

Yet another combo from the Discworld by Terry Pratchett. For fans, who have not learned earlier about the novels of Discworld, the disc an unusual place of chaos and magic, to better to know it, is nothing but our own real world. Unfortunately, when the elements enter into our world at the end, it causes the magic and disorder and ends with the usual thing.

The important character of the movie is a protagonist Moist von Lipwing, is a con artist, who was sentenced to death by hang for the various mistakes that he has performed. Fortunately, at the last moment, he was saved by the cunning and calculative Patrician Havelock Vetinari, who fakes the entire thing on scaffolds the Moist’s death. A special character, Havelock Vetinari, a tyrant and angel of Ankh Morposrk enters to change the screenplay. Moist was offered by two choices to go with; one is take up a job in the post office or to leave to land permanently and never to return.

After being in great dilemma, he decides to work in post office and he was brought under the supervision a golem of Mr. Pump. Moist was vexed when he understood the office was not working for few decades and the hall was full of undelivered posts. The only employees of the office were the old Postman Tolliver Groat and his worst servant Stanly Howler.

As the movie passes, moist falls in love with Adora Belle Dearheart is a chain-smoking golem rights activists. Another important character is Reacher Gilt, head of the charge of Grand Trunk, who was mainly interested in making money and he was upset on finding the clacks are not profitable in current days. But cunning Gilt made the preparation to burn the most of the post office building. In addition, this is how the movie goes till the end.

The great drawback of the movie is the three fantastic characters – Vetinari, Lipwing and Gilt, made use of bad language in between the movie and excellent performance. Screenplay is perfect such a way that none could guess the flow of the story.

A Kiss at Midnight tells us a simple story of the triumph of true lovers in the times of adversity. It tells us to believe in the power of love, like people have been doing since lost past. The movie has its moments but it is more of a romantic movie than a romantic comedy. You yourself can guess the story. Two people who are made for each other, they finally meet, love seems to be in the air, then something catastrophic happens and then the mending of heart begins.

This movie has been directed by Bedford May. As said earlier that the general theme is like all the pictures in this genre but it is not that the plot is bland. It springs its own surprises at the right moments and that’s what makes this movie interesting. Also to note that it boasts of some fine acting by all the leading actors which improves the experience and the fun gets doubled.

The story revolves around Susan Flowers (played to perfection by Faith ford), she runs an old fashioned dating agency and takes pride in the work she does. The business is blooming as she has an impeccable record of making all her matched couples reach the altar. The only sad part in her life is that she is approaching 40 and still hasn’t been able to find a perfect guy for herself.

While the other agency is known as Romance.com and is owned by a widower named Josh. He has recently shifted to the city has two daughters. Both of these girls are sad because they are alone as their mother has died. In pursuit of a step mom they put Josh’s profile in his computer. While Susan puts her profile in Josh’s agency to check its authenticity.

The rest of it is predictable, Susan makes a profile on Josh’s computer to find the truth of the computer agency and Josh’s daughter puts his name there. The computer does the matching and there are no surprises. Josh and Susan are soul mates. They meet a couple of times and life seems to be happy until they confide their professions to each other. Both began to think that the other is there to sabotage their business and they break apart. Well the next part relates to their hardships and their story of finally coming together.

The acting in the movie is first rate with both the actors in top form. Since the movie has loads of comic capers in the beginning and both of these actors are known for their comedy hence it sets the tone for the later part of the movie. The daughters of Josh played by Jadin Gould and Abigail Mavity also deserve a special mention as they carried a movie on the pivotal points quite admirably.

It is true that there is nothing new in the story but the handling of the story is immaculate that in the end you start weeping from the heart that everything has turned perfectly the way it should have turned into. I would recommend this movie to everybody simply because it makes us genuinely happy from inside.
