Hey ladies – ever been dumped, had your despondent or other wise been tramped upon by a man? Naturally you have – we all have. 1.Co-Ed sports leagues and fitness clubs! Guys love sports, we all know that, and they can completely dig a chick that loves sports too. Or better yet – how about a part time job at the local club? 2. Shoot pool! ( Ok, this can include the nasty drunk, so be prepared ) 3. Laundromats! Do your laundry on a friday night or saturday, it’s a great ice-breaker, and remember, no granny- panties!

4. Return to school! Take a look at the classes that the GUYS often take like engineering, automobile engineers, for example. If you don’t need to join, volunteer to be a class aid. 5. Get a dog and start walking in the park – and bring a Frisbee! 6. Go online! There are all kinds of places you can get a free profile

7. Crash a wedding 8. Go to graduations at the local college 9. Attend sporting events and soccer parties at BW3s or your local sports club ( goes along w / 1 )

10. Home Depot or your local Lowes – troll the isles, pretend to need help, or attend a free class on the simple way to tile your lavatory floor!

The fact is, it has been happening for a while. People are turning more and more to the internet as a source of information, over books.

People are opting to just boot up their computers and search for information online instead of going on a trip to the local library. Many people are satisfied with the information that can be found online. Does this shift in our information resources spell out the end of the book era?

No, there will always be a need for books in the future, as far as I can see. Academics rely heavily on books in their college studies and, later, careers. There are simply too many people in need of books for them to become a dying breed overnight.

A woman with psychic powers, a big bad world of crime and the tussle to give justice to the poor souls are the main features that are depicted in a very interesting way in the TV show “Medium”. A production of CBS this show takes the viewers in the journey from the real world to the world of parapsychology.

The storyline is like this – Allison DuBois is a woman with three children. Her husband Joe is an aerospace engineer. Allison is also studying law. Apart from these very common and natural things in the lady’s life there is something very extraordinary. This woman is gifted from her very childhood. She has an inborn power to communicate with dead people. She can visualize the future in her dreams and can read other people’s minds. With the passing of days Allison’s unique ability makes her feel many strange incidents. At first she is intimidated and thinks that she has some kind of mental problem. Desperately she seeks help and support from her husband. But her husband Joe, gradually realizes that the dreams, his wife is talking about might just not be of any kind of normal nightmares. She must have some kind of uncanny link with the dreams. Allison mostly sees dead people in her dreams. After some stray incidents it can be seen that Allison is working in the district attorney’s office as an assistant. But he r nature of work is of a strange manner. She helps to solve cases with the assistance from the dead people. The incidents that come into her dreams are horrific and complicated. The problem here is that the law cannot press charges to any individual on the basis of someone else’s dream. Allison’s task is to look back into the incidents and provide the police with good evidences to make necessary arrests and moreover ample hard core proof to the prosecutors to charge the guilty in the court of law.

The show steals the hearts of the viewers by not only with the subject matter but also with the convincing performances by the characters played by various artists. Patricia Arquett plays the lead Allison DuBois and her husband Joe’s character is performed by Jake Weber. Lee Scanlon is an efficient detective who helps Allison solving the mysterious cases. This role is done by David Cubitt. The character of Allison’s boss the district attorney is casted by Miguel Sandoval. Sofia Vassilieva and Maria Lark play the two eldest children of Allison and Joe named Ariel and Bridgett respectively.

‘Agincourt’ the most recent book by Bernard Cornwell author of the Sharpe series is due to be adapted into a film. Bernard’s latest book unsurprisingly relates to the events around the 1415 English /French battle through the eyes of Thomas Hook an English longbowman.

London-based Independent Film Co. owned by Luc Roeg’s has employed Michael Hirst to adapt the book, Michael has gained acclaim with creating the Tudors series, writing the screenplays for the films Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

The Novel ‘Agincourt’ has done remarkably selling over 200,000 copies in 3 months since its release in the UK and spending over 4 weeks on the New York times best sellers list. The book not the first of Bernard Cornwells to be adapted, his Major Sharpe character having had over 15 TV films made, 12 of them based (sometimes much to vaguely.) on the Sharpe books set in the Napoleonic era .

Until now the Battle of Agincourt has had virtually no film exposure outside remakes of Henry V, but it is a battle where the much smaller English army of mainly archers defeated a much larger and better equipped French army of knights. It is believed up to10,000 French died with a loss of only 112 English casualties. It has been noted as being the battle which brought about the death of chivalry, and is also believed to of been the origination of the English two fingered salute.

The film is to be shot on a budget of a modest $35 million, and is due to start shooting at some point in 2011, cast and location at this point are unknown.

It is currently unknown if the film will be due to be dubbed for a French release, but somehow we doubt it will do good business on the French side of the channel. We are also hoping for a film release date of St Crispin’s day which was the date of the battle in 1415, but that may be hard to do.

Bernard Cornwells is most famous for his Richard Sharpe books. Of which Sharpe’s Trafalgar is an excellent example.

A man wakes up in the middle of a forest all bared and covered in goo like substance as he tries to understand the stranger world around him. Who is he? An alien or a result of a scientific experiment. Nobody really knows.

All the things around him leave him quiet confused and only many unsolved question lay ahead for him. Like who is he where is he from and what is he for? Suddenly he hears voices from a nearby tent and goes up to them and ends up disturbing a young couple who were being intimate. As the scream and him and drive him off, he moves to the city where everyone are astonished seeing him nude. A police man Lou Trager takes him to a detention centre. Nicole brings him back taking a special interest on him thinking he might be a special child.

It’s amazing how in spite of being an abnormal human figure he adjusts so well into the family that he eventually becomes a part of it with just one major difference-Exceptional intelligence.

He starts to live with trager and family and learns the unique habits of all the family members. Though in the beginning he was interpreted to be a mentally disabled person by the children, Lori and josh, his consistent association with the family in all the issues and his exceptional brain power ends up in establishing a profound relationship between him and the family in which he becomes a very important person.

Their deep connection with him is very obvious from the fact that the family doesn’t wish in disclosing Kyle (the name given by Nicole, who was believed to be his mother) to anyone as they felt that others might take advantage and make use of his supernatural powers or the government might subject him to scientific research purposes. Gradually and firmly his character gains strength with the shows as he gets to know the human ways of life.

The end of season one addresses the introduction of a completely unknown but invulnerable human figure into the Trager’s family with almost everybody kind of accepting him as a loveable family member who’s always there for everyone in the family ,the same way the family is there for him every time. Second season, however, brings a lot of twists and plot into the family drama making it hell of a lot more exciting to the viewers.

Truly an exciting series of extraordinary events with action packed scenes, emotions, drama and what not. A story about how an alien figure goes through different dilemmas in his life while understanding human ways of doing things. While the first season is all about Kyle and his search for a place in the society and also of his identity, the second season introduces a female clone with exactly similar behavioral patterns as a part of the storyline. It really gets interesting when this female figure search for her male counterpart, who is Kyle by the way, and brings in a lot of excitement and drama into the serial. A fascinating new season about two alien figures with extraordinary powers. Will they ever meet their destiny???
