Doomsday prophecies are not a new concept, they have been around since the time before Christ and perhaps even farther back. The wide scale revival of doomsday prophecies have been experienced recently, though. But what do expert organizations and institutions believe about these prophecies, which according to many, will occur anytime soon. More importantly, what is NASA’s take on the alleged polar reversal NASA?
First things first, is it likely for a polar shift to occur?
It is not, according to National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Scientific data suggest, however, that polar shift is possible with our friendly neighborhood star, the Sun.
As for our own planet, the occurrence of this phenomenon is still very questionable. Evidence are yet to be found to truly prove that the polar shift have, indeed, happened and will again happen. Even for our Sun, the flip is of geomagnetic nature. This means that the magnetic North and South poles exchange positions but their geographical locations remain static. This phenomenon happens periodically, approximately every 11 years when the solar cycle ends. The last cycle ended in 2001, another is expected to occur in 2012.
Of great interest about this magnetic pole reversal is that this phenomenon happens to our planet as well. Earth’s magnetic field also flips, although at a very irregular interval. The last magnetic polar shift occurred some 780,000 to 790,000 years ago, another is about to happen sometime in the very near future.
Anyone who has used a compass before is very familiar with the magnetic poles. Based on the evidence gathered by NASA’s Magnetic Field Satellite and various scientific records, the current state of our planet’s magnetic hangs by a thread. This has been the trend since the last 150 years in which period it is believed that about 10% of Earth’s magnetic field has been reduced. Another record suggest that in the Earth’s past, there was a period in which the planet titled 6 degrees per day.
If these records are in any way indicative of the Earth’s future activities, scientists fear that we are fast approaching a time when the Earth will flip on one side.
Wide scale disruption, if a polar shift happens, may be experienced world wide. On both on land and in the water, creatures may undergo disorientation. Earth may lack the protective shield that prevent cosmic elements from permeating our planet’s atmosphere. And if the Earth’s crust is displaced, we may, as many theorist predict, plunge into the oceans. Entire cities, specifically those whose elevations are not sufficient to save them from global tsunamis, may be engulfed by water, leaving no trace of their previous existence. Even our very civilization hangs by a thread. Our civilization could be likened with the lost city of Atlantis, engulfed by the seas, and forever lost.
We can expect to have another polar reversal NASA, although not the type that many fanatics and believers and doomsday prophecies believe. When it happens, and many believe it will happen, many strange things may start occurring. What these would be? No one knows for certain.

There is nothing more you can expect from a Michael Bay film other than chaos, explosions, smoking hot girls and chaos again and this is exactly what you get in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie.
The CGI animation level that has been used in the film as well as the action sequences is definitely the most amazing one would have seen ever and the audience will be left open mouthed. This however continuously has its cons especially with the prominence on action, stunts and further action, one ends up with a horrible plot if at all it can be called a plot. However besides that, theres lots of action to guarantee even John Rambo is jolted from his chair many a time.
The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie broke several box office record for ticket revenue and this definitely is not astonishing. The extensive length of the movie was a factor that was widely criticized – approximately close to 3 hours. It would have been still superior if a a few scenes had been edited and omitted.
Most of the things in the movie are brilliantly portrayed, the time frame, the robots, the transformation, and the story too. Even though the story is little it does fit into the movie pretty well. Criticism doesnt affect Michael Bay, he does what he likes to do ” direct the best, out of the world action scenes that look totally flawless.
The tale is engulfed in the center of fighting amongst huge robots. As said before, the emphasis of the film is not the plot, and we are agree to value the movie bearing in mind the fabulous action we are presented with. In comparison to the first there are additional robots and the action scenes have also dramatically increased. This gives the viewer the impression that the Transformers are in fact an integral part of our universe and not a far way aliens as was the case in the original movie.
The actors, even though not mind- blowing, put up a reasonable performance. Megan Fox looks very beautiful, unprecedented, and also delivers impressively on the acting front. It seems as if Josh Duhamel and Tyrese have been coerced into serving their script unwillingly. Michael Bay is a big fan of slow motion sequences however this is possibly the first time where the fight scenes take a back seat and Megan Fox is shown more in slow motion, especially in the run up to to the fight sequences, but I have to admit, it was most pleasing. The role of the semi perplexed – half champion college student who is handed over the task of saving the world, is played by Shia who actually does justice to this role.

America’s Heritage” By Gary DeMar Fails To Prove Constitution Is Christian Document

“America’s Heritage” by Gary DeMar is an unsuccessful attempt to link Christianity and the U.S. Constitution. The book was published by Coral Ridge Ministries in 2002.
A Christian Constitution?
The fundamental question is posed in the Introduction, “America’s Christian Heritage: Fact or Fiction?” The foregone conclusion is “fact,” and the book presents the usual assortment of quotes from various Presidents and Supreme Court Justices as evidence. This line of indirect testimony continues throughout the book. Plaques and inscriptions in Washington D.C., the Christian founding of various colleges, and official national days of prayer are presented as evidence.
And then he points out that virtually all of the colonial charters and constitutions were very forthright covenants with God. This is obvious to all. From there he concludes that the Constitution of 1787 was in like manner a Christian document. This is not so obvious to all.
Gary DeMar presents the two shopworn internal arguments in defense of his thesis. One is the phrase “year of our Lord” in the subscription clause at the end of the Constitution. Another is the exception of Sunday from the 10 days in which the President must sign or veto a bill. In the lexicon of Informal Logic these are known as trivial arguments.
The Biblical Standard
Before we can determine if Gary DeMar has proven that the U S Constitution is a Christian document we must first define what we mean by “Christian nation.” Some would deny such a thing even exists, so we must first demonstrate its existence from the Bible. Does the Bible provide such a definition? Without it we will find ourselves chasing every rabbit trail that crosses our path and getting nowhere.
In all His dealings with Israel God insists that the nation maintain its covenant relation with Him by means of an oath to obey His law. Continually Israel returns to an act of formal, oath-bound commitment to God, often written, to renew the broken covenant.
Without this formal commitment to govern according to the law of God a nation cannot claim to be a Christian nation. It may have other attractive features, but without the formal oath to enact God’s law it may not lay claim to being a Christian nation.
Among the many Biblical examples, Nehemiah 9:38 is very instructive: “…We are making an agreement in writing; and on the sealed document are the names of our leaders…” There is nothing like this commitment to rule by the law of God in the U.S. Constitution. Therefore, we are driven to the conclusion that Gary DeMar has failed to make his case.
Are colleges founded by Christians a national oath to God? Negative. Are the words “year of our Lord” after the date in the Constitution a national oath to God? Again negative. Is skipping Sunday as one of the 10 days a President is allowed to veto a bill a national oath to God. Once again, negative. The same may be said of all of the evidence presented in “America’s Heritage.” None of it constitutes a national oath to God.
The author is enthusiastic about all of this peripheral data, but is apathetic about the only thing that really matters, the covenant oath to God. This shows up in a hypothetical question he poses in Chapter 3: “If the constitutional framers could get a glimpse of America today, would they have rethought their decision only to make passing reference to the lordship of Jesus Christ?”
The answer: “We will never know. But when all the testimony is in, it is an undeniable truth that Christianity served as the foundation for the political edifice we know as America.” Here Gary DeMar admits that the Constitution left out the one essential ingredient for a Christian government — the lordship of Jesus Christ. However, In the next breath he claims that America is a Christian nation anyway. The conclusion does not follow from the premise.

She plays the character of Margaret, who is the editor of a major publishing company in NYC. She is extremely ambitious and is extremely career driven. Like any lawfully abiding citizen, they must go through an interviewing process to make the engagement official. This part of the movie was my favorite as it was funny and engaging. The interviewer cautions the so called couple of consequences of fake marriages and he also scares the wits out of them when he asks questions pertaining to their relationship.
To make their so called relationship look more genuine, Margaret decides to holiday with Andrew in Alaska for a weekend. Andrews parents live in Alaska and they plan to stay at his parents house. It is here that the parents force both of them to get married and when they finally do, the laughing riots are guaranteed to be hard to suppress.
Chemistry between the leading characters is the most important thing in a romantic film. Margaret and Andrew, played by Sandra and Ryan, set the screen on fire with their chemistry. Whether it is the sensitive romantic scenes or the intense hate ones, the couple pulls it off perfectly. This is definitely a pair to look out for! Effects Of A Polar Shift – End Of The World, For One

The Long Calendar of the Mayas, the Book of Changes of China, the prophecies of the Hopi civilization, the Holy Bible and Nostradamus, all predicted one thing – that the world will end and it might fall on our age. It seems that as we move towards the predicted date – December 21, 2012 – a mixture of anticipation and fear starts to build up. But what can we really expect from a pole shift? What are the effects of a polar shift to our Earth, to mankind?
First things first, is it even possible for the poles of the Earth to shift?
Maybe, maybe not. So far, evidence gathered can neither indicate or debunk any claims of pole shift in the past, although it is clear for the present that any claims of global catastrophe caused by polar shift cannot be proven. Evidence seem to suggest that pole shift can happen either very very slowly or quickly. While the latter questions all notions of gradual displacement of the continents, many believe that this can happen when one, a massive planetary body collides with the Earth and give it enough thrust to tilt on one side, or two, when there is enough disturbance in the outer core of the Earth to cause a change in tilt to occur.
The Consequences Of A Pole Shift
The effects of polar shift can only be guessed at. Hypothetically though, the following scenarios could possibly happen when the geological poles of the Earth – not the geomagnetic poles which have a reputation for switching – truly flip.
As the Earth’s poles change positions, the way life goes may change as well. It turns out, humans are not the only living creatures who depend on the magnetic fields. Migratory animals as well as mollusks, some species of fish and mammals all look to the magnetic field of the Earth to approximate their position and location on the planet. With a disruption in the magnetic field, which some say may be a result of shifting continents, massive quantities of living creatures both in the ocean and on land may be lost.
Pole shift theories have been around since mid-1800s when French mathematician Joseph Adhmar proposed the possibility of global tsunamis as a result of wide scale melting of the polar caps. A century and a half later, Joseph Adhmar’s theory is still fueling interest and is now synonymous to such disasters that can spell the end of the world and mankind.
The immersion of entire continents into the ocean has been proposed as well as the leveling of cities and mountains due to high-intensity earthquakes, and global destruction as result of erupting super volcanoes. The Ring of Fire, quiet as it is, can erupt all at once along with weapons of mass destruction and nuclear warheads, sending off mankind to nuclear winter. The world post-polar shift is not that easy to imagine – just think of all cataclysmic events and think of them all happening at the same time. Now you get the idea of what the world will be like after polar shift.
But pandemonium doesn’t end here. The effects of a polar shift – if doomsday prophecies and predictions were to be believed – will go beyond the initial devastation of mankind. Time alone can reveal what disasters lie in wait for mankind in the not so distant future.

Torchwood Episodes

The Torchwood TV show is one of Britain’s best science fiction series which has gone on for three seasons and is still running on air. The series was created by writer Russell T. Davies who has written other series such as Doctor Who, Casanova, Queer as Folk and number of other TV series.
This science fiction series would tell the stories of the fictionalized institute that is named Torchwood Institute, this would be where people would deal with many different extraterrestrial activities that would take place right here on our own planet. This institute had been set in Cardiff where the researchers would spend tons of time trying to figure out how they would be able to use these alien’s technology that they have found.
Another very interesting fact would be that this institute would be sponsored and ran by Queen Victoria. She has set up the institute so that humans could learn so much more about the alien activities along with their technologies but also so they could prepare to fight any type of force that would be from outside our world.
The team of investigators is headed by the Torchwood Three who are Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper and Owen Harper whose role in the series are played by John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Burn Gorman respectively. Earlier the group was supposed to be headed by five instead of three and the other two characters were those of Toshiko Sato a computer specialist and Ianto Jones who is responsible for all administrative duties, their roles in the series are played by actors Naoko Mori and Gareth David-Lloyd.
Apart from the team of members that are working at the Torchwood Institute there is another important character whose name is Rhys Williams, role played by actor Kai Owen. In the series Rhys is Gwen’s live-in boyfriend who she later gets married to in the series. Rhys is earlier unaware of the mysterious job that his girlfriend does but he becomes aware of the truth in series 2 of the show.
This series had been aired in the UK along with all around the globe. It has been aired right in Australia, France, Canada, Japan, Germany, New Zealand, Serbia, Portugal, Malaysia, United States and Sweden.
The series has completed three seasons and is currently producing the fourth season. U.S. Constitution Fails To Meet All 3 Criteria For Christian Government

Patrick Henry is usually lumped in with other founders like James Madison, but Henry never was reconciled to the U. S. Constitution. “Discipling the Nations — The Government Upon His Shoulder” tells the story (Legacy Communications, 1996).
One theme of the book is Patrick Henry’s vociferous opposition to the proposed Constitution. There were probably more Christians opposing the Constitution in the ratification debates and Patrick Henry was their acknowledged leader. He had opposed the document from the beginning when he described his rejection of the call to the Constitutional Convention with the words, “I smelt a rat.”
Showdown in Virginia
It all came down to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, the home turf of key framers Washington and Madison. This was about half way through the ratification process and if Virginia had rejected her own “favorite sons” the Constitution would have been a dead letter. It was to be a head-to-head match-up between Federalist James Madison and Anti-Federalist Patrick Henry. Madison was a master organizer so his hand-picked delegation led by 2-1 going into the battle. After 23 days of Patrick Henry’s oratory the Constitution squeaked through by a mere eight votes. Had Henry persuaded just four more delegates the Convention would have been deadlocked.
Henry’s speeches occupied about a quarter of the floor time, one speech lasting almost a whole day (7 hours). On several other days he rose to speak three times. Friend and foe alike were captivated. Madison himself acknowledged that he could speak for an hour and Mr. Henry could undo it all with the raising of an eyebrow.
To Patrick Henry the proposed Constitution was political poison, “a revolution more radical than that which separated us from Great Britain.” Over and over he denounced the Constitution’s making “we the people”, instead of God, the source of governing authority.
Constitution has ‘Wall of Separation’ Despite Evangelical Protests
Contemporary Christian historians are quick to point out that the words “wall of separation” as articulated by Jefferson cannot be found in the American Constitution. It is true they cannot.
And yet the concept is presented in unmistakable fashion in the prohibition that, “No religious test shall ever be required for any office or public trust under these United States” “Discipling the Nation” unveils this little known time bomb in Article VI, Section 3.
The book explains how any government conforming to the Bible will be marked by three characteristics:
1) The Bible is upheld as “the higher law,” the supreme law of the land,
2) Legislative enactments are based explicitly on the Bible for crimes like murder, theft, adultery, etc.,
3) It will require government officers to swear on oath to uphold those laws.
The U.S. Constitution falls short on every single point, especially in its proscription of the religious test oath for holding public office. Moreover, it substitutes the majority vote of the people for the governing authority of God and rejects Biblical law in declaring itself to be “the supreme law of the land.” All of this and more adds up to an impenetrable wall of separation between God and government.
And so, Patrick Henry explained, “I smelt a rat” when he refused his invitation to the Constitutional Convention.
